Yes it is, just not the part that is in love with soccer. I realize it is becomming more and moe popular, and with the influx of mexicans coming here it will continue in that direction.

I'm confused...is that the "good" Timbers logo or the "shouted down" logo?

I can picture you now, typing this from your 90s Dell laptop on your rocking chair, aviators on, with a pot of spit next to your foot and a plate of meatloaf on the ground.

I definitely like Timbers soccer more than Beavers baseball! That's about as far as I can go right now.

It is kind of hard to like a team called the Beavers, anyway.

Well, i'm willing to give soccer a try since we'll be getting a pro team, just like i would with hockey if we got the nhl. It would help if we actually got the games on tv down here though.

same here... I know I have season tickets... but I wont be at all the games, I hope comcast doesnt ruin it for all of us. In fact I dont think the Timbers can afford it.. they need to be the states team for Footy... not just Comcast subsribers' team.

Soccer games are more entertaining at the stadium instead of in front of the TV! The atmosphere is great!

in all honesty.. cause I know that it wont ever be on the EPL, La Liga, Seria A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 level. But how long would an outsider, who has no need for the league to do well... say it would take for MLS to be on the next level of like Mexico Primera, Russian Premier League, Dutch, Brazilian, and Argentine league.

The MLS is not far off. They already have the money to put into their teams/leagues. I just don't think they can ever truly flourish with their salary caps, draft system, and strict transfer rules. I doubt they would ever change that.
