Even when Finley was INconsistent in the 2005-2006 season (he would come up with a 20 point night, then the next night would be 10 points, maybe), the Mavs crowd still gave him LOTS of support.2. The first reason further leads me to this. Why CHEER ON a player who's being paid more than your MVP who only gives you 16 PPG, 4 RPG, 3 APG, and maybe a steal? I mean, compare Finley to Dirk Nowitzki, and Dirk is being paid about $3 million less for 26 PPG, 9 RPG, 3 APG, and a block, and in the playoffs, he's giving you a monster night almost every night except Game 1 in San Antonio (20 points on 8-20 shooting, and 14 rebounds).3. Sorry, but Mavs fans hate Duncan more than Finley. Mavs fans BOO Finley more because we fear him more. We know how skilled he is with his fearsome jump shot.4. Haven't any of you all heard of not helping your top rival!?!? Maybe Finley thought it would be fun to beat Dallas on San Antonio. Didn't work out, though, did it?5. You could really take a look at it and say Finley had 28 other teams besides SAN ANTONIO to go to. But then, Finley said he wanted to go to a contending team. Looking at the time he was looking for a team to sign to, there was also Miami or Phoenix.6. Did any of you know Finley received over 5,000 e-mails to join Phoenix alongside former teammate Steve Nash? Sorry, but Steve Nash was Finley's great friend, you know?7. What would YOU do if you were a Mavs fan like me? You just feel like you need to boo him. It's just the natural emotion. As I said previously, he strikes fear into opposing fans and players.8. Dallas is happy because Mark Cuban was the one who helped Dallas become what it is today, so when Mark Cuban is happy, so is Dallas and the Mavs fans from around the world. Well, Cuban wouldn't be happy cheering on Finley and spending $51 million extra on an inconsistent guy, right? Plus i only care about winning and winning only. I dont care what ppl think of me. I dont care about other ppl's opinion of me or my team. As long as we win, i'm happy.

Are we supposed to cheer the opposition, who cares if he played for us 8 years, he's wearing a different jersey and we should not cheer him to beat us. Fans who do that are fans of the player and not the team and should just become a Spurs fan. Same goes for Nash fans.
