Why? The team is worse off trading for James Johnson now than they would have been trading for James Johnson several weeks ago? Ed O.
James Johnson period. Trading for bench fodder, who's bball IQ is Travis Outlaw-esque, is worse than letting Rudy sit out his contract.
I guess I don't quite agree. In terms of opportunity cost we're talking about a phantom player who is literally providing nothing and takes up a roster spot, compared to a scrub player who can at least give you a warm body in practice -- I guess the only thing you'd have to worry about is Rudy killing you in a game situation, but I guess I'm not super worried about that.
We might be surprised, for the good, for what Cho gets for Rudy now that he's done a little better overseas. Hoping so anyway.
Nah, I wouldn't expect that. I think we're going to see him moved for peanuts, but hopefully he's sent to some wasteland like New Jersey.
Maybe Quick will have a story that something dramatic is going to happen soon and then announce that Cho is working on a potential trade.
I disagree only in that I think thats what he would want and I say fuck what he wants. Blazers deserve to get some value for him due to the cost to get him.
This can't be true. I've read here that the CHOsen One won't be forced into trading Rudy. Getting a 10 PER scrub like a 22 year-old James Johnson doesn't seem at all likely given all the spreadsheets and such that the CHOsen One uses to assess any deal.
