Was out at the practice facility this morning and saw some of the guys. Talked to Joel for a few minutes. Said he had a good summer rehabbing and can't wait to get back on the floor. physically, he looked great. Buck Williams and Bickerstaff were overseeing Caleb Canales and Bayno running drills with the young guys. Talked to Nate and congratulated him on the World Championships, he said he was glad to be home. The thing that blew me away was LaMarcus!!!!!! He is RIPPED! He looks like STAT! He was also rocking a nice beard that he said he was going to keep this whole season. I told him he needs to do the Rick Ross version( nerds, google it)! Seriously, he looked huge. Can't wait for training camp to kick off.
From this we can deduce that nothing has happened over the summer to render some members of our team immune from the effects of the visible light spectrum. Thank you.
When they clapped their hands or opened their mouths and appeared to use their vocal chords, did sound emerge? It'd be nice to get confirmation on that too.
Nothing that a few bored people with photoshop skills (bad or good) and a few pictures of Lamarcus to modify can't fix! How about a thread where people make their best Lamarcus Aldridge beard photshop for the win!
Hey HCP, I would love a few words on Elliot. Others too, but I have almost no knowledge of his abilities aside from some draftexpress stuff. thanks biotch
I can only assume that was directed at me, so I obeyed. That would be pretty sweet. Maybe he and Oden could have a beard-off...
I'll be surprised if LaMarcus is able to keep his muscle as the season goes on. It's not too hard to bulk up when you can really focus on lifting and diet. But during an NBA season where he has to endure days of cardio and is traveling that'll be a different story.
The thing I like about him being so ripped and 260lbs is that big muscles make you feel like a beast. He will hopefully gain confidence banging around and want to show the league that he is a monster. He has the skill, he just needs to have the willingness to beast it up inside.
From what I understand this time he used a professional trainer who trains many of the Dallas Cowboys. Last time when he put on weight he did it wrong. This time he used a trainer who built him up to get stronger and maintain his speed. Now if we can just get somebody to actually outlet him the ball every once in a while on the break....he is constantly ahead of everybody yet nobody throws the pass.
