Week 3 of college football brings few games between top 25 teams.

    9 Iowa
    24 Arizona

I don't think Arizona will do a very good job at representing the Pac. Iowa rolls..

    Games to watch:

    Louisville
    25 Oregon St

Oregon State players have been in typical form with media and twitter quotes about "destroying" Louisville. The Cardinals appear average this season, being 1-1 and getting sucker punched by Kentucky. I suggest the Beaver players concentrate on getting Rogers going as he's missed 100 yards for several games now - instead of talking themselves up. This one goes to the Beavs due to home field advantage, but could be close.

    Ugly game of the week:

    Portland State or Oregon

Ugh... Possibly the best offense in the country against, well, Portland State. Poor State, they are overmatched in speed and size at every single position. Let's call this one a 65-3 with Oregon starters showing the white grill from the sidelines after 2.

    As always, Go Ducks!

    Looking forward to next week.

What games are you looking forward to this week? :sherlock:

Looking forward to the Tennessee-Florida game and I'm looking forward to seeing Kentucky go 3-0 after they light up the Zips of Akron. In one of my boldest predictions ever, I have Florida getting beat this week and next week versus Kentucky... Not likely I know but if it was ever going to happen, this is the year for it.

This is weird. I was just thinking that if Tenn can put four quarters together like the first two of the Oregon game, they win. Stranger things have happened. I wouldn't bet on it, but I'm thinking Tenn earns some respect this time around.

I don't care if you cover this week, but I want you guys to DESTROY Boise State.

Decent game tonight w/ Cinnci vs NC State. Funny how when the season kicks off, I'm dying for ANY college football, even Div-II. Three weeks in, it's all about selection! Holtz is in rare form...I can almost understand every other word!

texas @ texas tech. tech is good in lubbock and if texas comes out slow like they have so far in both of their games this season it could get interesting.

i expect texas to open up the offense and blow them out, but it still is potentially a close game.

It wasn't a surprise that U of O would roll over PSU. I had already guessed that. I was shocked however on how many injuries the duck acquired during that game! That might hurt the ducks power going into the Pac-10 a little?
As a Beaver fan, I was nervous as our defense/offense is still finding a rythm but that's okay they will get that identity as the season progresses. Thats the typical M.Riley coach system that i have accustomed to anyways!

From what I've heard, all the injuries are muscle strains and nothing serious. All the players are expected to practice later in the week and be back 100% for ASU.
It's odd that we went two games with few, if any injuries, then suffered a few while hosting PSU.

I don't think the players warmed up enough. Hey, I called those games fairly close. There's a first for everything!

Here's one Duck truly rooting for the Beavs this week!
