Conflicting grades recorded on Eric Bledsoe's high school transcript and a night-school grade report from Parker High School call into question whether the basketball star should have been eligible to play his one year at the University of Kentucky. ENTIRE ARTICLE
So much wrong here. How is a kid with a GPA below 2.0 even eligible for high school basketball, let alone given a chance to become eligible for NCAA? Normally, I'd doubt that they'd do anything to Kentucky, but after seeing how they hit USC, they might have something for UK. Of course, they'll probably implement it as Cal leaves and gets another multi-million dollar deal from a major school. If NCAA wants to fix this, they need to slap the sanctions on the team and the coach. If UK gets suspended from post-season play or loses scholarships, that should stick with Calipari (or even be increased for him) so that it is carried to any school he moves on to.
