I'm having buyers remorse over Boozer; which is silly because I am neither paying for him nor had any control over whether they signed him in the first place. It seems to me that right about the time that first real contract comes up players begin to feel the first ill effects of injuries that never go away. They either learn or how to deal with them, or their best days are behind them.

If I were to pick a player from our current roster who I most expect to disappoint it would be Boozer, although I recognize he was the best player available and all that. I guess we shall see.

I'm worried about that as well, no doubt.

Two out of the last five of his seasons have been cut drastically short due to injury.

    But, he's really productive.

    Did you know....

The Bulls will have the #7 and #8 players in rebound rate starting for them next season?

I think the Bulls might be good enough at this point to have a guy who takes half the year off, if it's the right half of the year.

I mean, maybe my expectations are way out of whack, but between Boozer and Noah I expect the Bulls to own the boards most evenings next season.

There should not be many (any?) teams that can match us at the 4 AND the 5 next season on the rebounding front.

Deng's one of the best rebounders in the league from the 3 spot as well. And on the off chance we trade for Melo, he's also one of the better ones.

Totally down with Kukoc and Mike re : Luol Deng being one of the best rebounding 3's in the game . Probably only behind Durant and Gerald Wallace. Josh Smith is up there too.

But the strength of our rebounding , particularly on the offensive glass , is all the more reason we need another shooter at guard

Which is also why Rudy should be acquired and should start ....but that drum's been a bangin
