Seems this lady may be illegally spending campaign funds. http://articles.cnn.com/2010-09-18/...atchdog-group-senate-candidate?_s=PM:POLITICS
Christine O'Donnell is the shining light of the Tea Party. I read only the first third of the Wikipedia biography and I've seen enough. Summary: She ran for the US Senate in 2006, 2008, and 2010, the only electoral office she has ever run for. Her only jobs in life have been working for conservative political organizations, with her specialty being opposition to masturbation, pornography, and sex. At age 41, she has never been married and is childless. She has written and spoken extensively against masturbation. She lied that she was a college graduate in those races, and also in her gender discrimination lawsuit against her conservative lobby employer. She tried to steal $4800 from the college in unpaid tuition years ago. Because of media scrutiny, she finally paid it, took more courses, and graduated just a week ago. In 2008, her mortgage company got a $90,000 judgment after she defaulted. Just before the Sheriff's auction, she sold her house. This year in 2010, the IRS filed a lien for $11,000 in unpaid taxes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_O'Donnell
Christine O'Donnell turned into a hardcore repub because she was ran through like a train in college.
I haven't really paid attention to her until a lot of these posts anti-O'Donnell popped up on teh interwebs, she seems like she enjoys a lot of teh cawk.
The Wikipedia article says that in college, she joined the College Republicans and preached sexual abstinence...She's a freak.
I was in the college republicans. it really wasn't anything. we'd put on ties and harass hippies on earth day, that was about it.
Hippies are cool. If i was a teenager in the 60's I would've been a hippie I like to smoke the herb and experiment with psychadelics
I did that shit and I was far from a hippie. I was more of a wanna be thug stoner. after a while, the slacky, lazy attitude of the hippies really really starts to get annoying. they would just do some stupid shit and take forever. its cool like once in a while but when its 24/7 its shitty.
exactly its all about moderation. I've always made it a point to never get fucked up on week nights. Its a simple method and works well. Mon-Fri all business. Sat-Sun all pleasure
In the 70s almost all younger guys at college had long hair (by today's standards), and many had very long hair. As well as facial hair. My long hair record was 23 inches. Hair was a political statement. Some held out in the Reagan years, but gave up when Bush No. 1 was elected. As for LSD, only about 10% of us tried it. Greatest experience of my life.
Well, not just going out at night..hipppies don't really do that, they just chill all day and do nothing waiting for people to take care of them. just kind of an annoyance, I actually had a hippie roomate senior year and he'd just play the guitar all day and smoke cigarettes and weed at all hours of the night, even when I was trying to go to sleep. He was cool though, but sometimes those things bugged me. I used to go out 5-6 nights a week out of college, it was actually good for networking and shit like that for work. you always met new people...now I only go out like 1 or 2 a week....dunno, things were better going out a lot during the weekdays...probably more an LA thing since probably more shit to do out here than in PDX during the weekdays.
Funniest story ever. I was tripping on mushrooms with a bunch friends and we decided we wanted to go for a long walk. Well we walked around the neighborhood and saw a fishing boat parked in some dudes driveway. We decided it was a good idea to hop in the boat and act like we were fishing and the boat was rocking because of the waves. We thought it was hilarious and were pretty loud cracking up. Next thing we know, my buddy has a shotgun in his face and we were threatened that the cops were coming. So we started running, the guy knew where my buddy lived and he came over a couple days later and told his parents. His parents were the type of parents that thought their kid could do no wrong, so he didn't get in trouble. BTW, I hope kids don't read this board.
I find it funny the anti-tea party rhetoric by the left. they're actually making the tea party stronger by criticizing them. I was down at the Santa Monica promenade and the guy who sells liberal hippie stickers, Jerry Rubin (http://www.jerrypeaceactivistrubin.com/ ) had a bunch of "No Tea Party" signs all over his table.
I used to be an everyday user during my senior year in high school. It never really effected my motivation.
