Ronan...I would get shoulders in there if I were you. split I've used... Shoulders Legs back/biceps Chest/Triceps Abs twice a week. I never use protein shakes as a meal replacement. I do a shake right when I wake up in the morning and eat 45 minutes later. I workout and follow it with a protein shake. Eat 45 minutes after.
.....and it shows. You look like a scarecrow. Protein builds muscle. Most vegetarians lack the proper amount of protein to see results lifting weights.
Progress at the gym comes in baby steps, especially if you've never lifted before. Remember to mix up your workouts too, do the same one for a couple weeks than slightly tweak it. That sounds about right with the protein. Just remember you'll get more nutrients from eating a proper meal, than you do from a shake.
It depends. I mix it up. I'll use Jack3d for about a month, then take a month off and go back to it. Sometimes I like to mix it up and try different stuff.
I'm 37 and I would just shoot you in the kneecap and make you watch me do your mom from behind while wearing a Kobe jersey and listening to the Wu-Tang Clan........ FAMS!
This guy went through the same surgeon I'm using. Dr. Parsons at Kaiser Sunnyside. I got a chance to meet him, cool guy. I plan on getting on this level in a couple months He went through basically the exact same thing I did. Toxic mega colon, twisted small intestine, 3 step jpouch surgery.
I had to google it, so no. I've tried Hydroxycut a few years ago & hated it. It made me all wired and gacked out like I was on meth.
My younger brother, who I got into weight-lifting a couple years ago just benched 345 lbs 3 times today. Kid is a beast.
My younger brother, who is 16, benched 220 2 times yesterday. He has been working out for only about 2 months consistently. It's ridiculous how fast he's been progressing. He's 5'11" 170. I still get pissed at him that he doesn't play sports anymore cause he's really fast too. He was a great running back.
Thats sweet. Only problem is he'll most likely plateau soon. He needs to remember to eat, eat, eat and mix up his workouts to get out of the rut. Days off for rest is really important as well.
Only supplements I use are a pre-workout drink and protein. Never had a desire to do roids' if thats what your insinuating. I feels its just cheating yourself, anybody can do it.
He has been taking in so much protein though. 2 30gram bars a day and 50gram shake right after lifting. And meaty meals.
