No experience from me. But, for such a big car and the price range - you can also look at a Maserati Quattroporte or something of that nature. Good luck either way. If this is what floats your boat - go for it. Who cares what other people think about the look.
It's actually not a "slight issue". My old neighbor had an apron that was too steep. The previous neighbors had a Land Rover with plenty of clearance. Jason had a Jetta. When he bought the place he pulled in his garage and tore the crap out of the bottom of his car.
haha...j/k. are you going to "trick it out though"? gonna run over the IT nerds coming out of their corollas at work? woot!
dunno, its just weird when a 23 year old has the nicest car in the parking lot...do you think it might affect how others view you at work? there will be some "backtalk", you know there is. happened at my work, a few of the girls had nicer cars than those making 3-4x what they were making.....just seemed weird.....and this is LA...Oregon's gotta be crazier with the reactions.
Fuck them, they all prob make more than me, and then they would have resentment to me cause i saved my money etc and have a nnice car then them? well then fuck the haters...
maybe with the 3-series vs. C-class or a 5 vs. E-class (I like the E-class better personally), but at the high end of the luxury spectrum- S-class > 7 series SL/CL > 6 series
At 23 you can get a sick car without having to pay $40,000-$50,000. I personally don't get it. But, whatever floats your boat.
If I were you I would buy 10 cars @ $5k each, same model but each one in a different color. Drive a different one to work every day every two weeks. That would be mad baller!
