See, you're not the target audience of a tablet in the first place. Quit complaining because you have trouble stuffing your fat-ass online body into the equivalent of a SMART car!
BUT THE COMMERCIAL SAYS ITS FOR ME. Do you use them at restaurants or coffee shops? I would kind of feel like an asshole using it there, but I usually read magazines or whatever.
Oh quit it; every commercial says everything is for you. Put on your big boy pants and do some actual critical thinking. I write in coffee shops and restaurants, typically in SE where Apple is already king, so it draws minimal attention. Plus, I've already had strangers and friends call me an asshole to my face before; I've learned to live with it.
you write on it? doesn't it take a lot longer? you can use the apple bluetooth keyboards with it right? I have one for my laptop actually for when I dock it and do a dual monitor setup at home
Yeah, I use the bluetooth keyboard and one of those TwelveSouth Compass stands. It ends up being effectively a little laptop in pieces, which still weighs less than my laptop by a pound or two, and doesn't have the keyboard permanently attached, which means my wife can use the iPad solo for web surfing in the evenings. It's a pretty decent setup, all told.
