That's what I was thinking. Damnit! I like them better when they discount defense all together.

No more 4 guard lineups with Maggette at Center?

I have no idea if Keith Smart will be good, but this team has some dangerous players if they start buying into defense and keep their offensive abilities.

since Maggette is a Buck now that seems pretty unlikely. Hopefully for their fans they fare better on the injury front... they made the 09-10 Blazers seem healthy which was why Nelson played so many unconventional lineups last year. They had to feature multiple D league players just to field a full team

I still don't understand that Maggette signing from a Bucks point of view. Salmons is close to the same player. Then I thought their Drew Gooden signing was stupid too.

Better to step down than to wait until you fall down.

Good. I hated the match ups against them. We couldn't run with them in their building. The less small ball teams we face the better IMO.

We couldn't get a call in their building for the last couple of years. I've never seen one team get so many flop calls, but without it they would have been blown out which is bad for Stern's business I guess :dunno:

that and Morrow tended to shoot the lights out... but he's a Net now

grab Monta in the 3rd or 4th. With so many of their guards gone, dude is going to lead the league in minutes played again

minutes played is probably my most valued stat in fantasy

Nellie didn't have much success in his last few years in GS, but his unconventional approach completely owned Nate.

Funny, I watched the Blazers beat the Warriors in Oakland last year. Came back from big late deficit. I'm pretty sure Nate was coaching. And I'm pretty sure Nate was coaching the home games the Blazers won as well.

    Facts are stubborn things.

It's going to be hard for running teams to get going anyhow, with all the new game stoppages introduced to the ref crews this year with the additional T's. More T's = more game stoppages. More Stoppages = problems for running teams.
