So far, so good. I think Ryan Mathews might end up being right with him.

I agree, if Best continues doing what he did last weekend, he will be the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Wasn't the biggest knock on him his durability?

So far, a great pick up for the Lions.

I told EVERYONE he should have been with the Patriots. Pity.

After two games, he's shown he is the best offensive rookie in the NFL? I need a little bit more of a sample size.

It's been two games, so I'm not going to get caught up in it yet. Granted I do hope he continues to be the best rookie, solely because I have him on a fantasy team, but I can easily see Mathews, Bryant or Bradford end with the ROTY as well. It's wide open right now, and I think it'll be closely contested all season.

I took him as my 4th RB in my fantasy league (Maurice Jones-Drew, Frank Gore and Shonn Greene are my other three). So far, he's been the best one. Too bad I haven't played him yet.

We'll see if he's still putting up these numbers once defenses start keying on him.

Just so everyone's aware I took the title from the article for the title of the thread. I also agree it's way to early to make that statement. Although I would also agree that so far he's looking like it, but only time will tell.

His touchdown production has dropped way off, but I'm hoping he picks it up again soon. I like his style of play.
