I'll do the math, as we know shaq is a very lazy. In a high paced offense, he'll be easily tired. Adding onto the fact that Shaq's work ethic is horrible, i'd say he'd average 35ppg for about one season then slowly doze off. That's because of his sheer dominance. It all depends on how durable shaq is, the guy has played 40mpg once in his career. Wilt averaged 48.5 for one season  It might seem on paper that shaq would averaged 50 because shaq weighs 70b's more than the guy he'd face but other things have to be taken into account.

The "weak" competition Wilt played against had little affect on how great he actually was. No player since Wilt have put up anywhere near those numbers. If you ask me, Wilt is the greatest player in NBA history hands down. Not even Michael Jordan can come close. We will never ever ever ever ever ever see a player who's only half as good as Wilt.</div>[IMG]

Oh no, I said MJ isn't the greatest player in NBA history. Am I the only one here not blinded by media bullsh**? I guess so. Read closely: WILT CHAMBERLAIN WOULD WIPE THE FLOOR WITH MICHAEL JORDAN. Did you get that? I hope so.

Yes Wilt was great, but what gets me is the fact he was so dominant but he only got 2 rings?? Did he just not know HOW to win??

Yeah, he was never on real great teams except for the 1967 76ers and 1972 Lakers.

And he also had cunnigham. You compare them to the celtic supporting cast and you get what i;m saying.

Those old Celtic teams had whole starting lineups that are now in the HOF.

In my opinion, Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest player in NBA history. Now, you can say that he had it easy back in the 1960's, but the competition was really fierce. I am positive that the Centers of our time would not have scored 50.4 ppg. If you read about the D back in the day, they would reach insanely. These days, just tapping a person's shoulder is considered a foul. I think it'd be pretty hard for people to top Wilt's performance. Maybe some selected people from this era would be able to do it, like Kobe Bryant for instance or MJ, but not many would be able to TOP Wilt. I also believe that not many would be able to STOP Wilt.

I agree with you. Nobody talks about Wilt. He is the most underrated-greatest player ever. Nobody, gives him credit.
