    Multiple people have reported he isn't sure when he'll be able to go, only that he wont participate in full drills tomorrow. Freeman is the only one I've seen that said Greg wont play opening night.

    LA on the radio now--says he got up over 260 this summer, felt slow, and has dropped down to 255 and feels good and quick now. Thinks he'll drop down to 250 by the time the season starts.

    Gotta love those earlier reports that Aldridge was 262 and didn't lose a step!

    It hardly ever works like that, and I didn't really buy it at the time.

    LA said his mom was undergoing a procedure for breast cancer this summer, so he had to decline the invitation for Team USA. He's getting after the people who killed him for not going.

    Yeah, and then he got after the people who get on him for shooting 18-footers, saying that he sees himself on the block quite a bit when he's watching film, and he usually moves away from the block because he's coming out to set picks. Basically telling all his critics to stuff it.

    Greg Oden tells The FAN he's physically unable to go full contact at this point. His knee is not 100% and he won't return until he tells the doctors it feels 100%.
