Toronto RaptorsChicago BullsBoston CelticsOrlando MagicAll are stacked with loads and loads of young talent. Which team has the brightest future?
the rockets. hahaha you can't really tell but with the current rosters you definately have to say the bulls. teams move around constantly
Bobcats should be a playoff threat within a few years.Right now I think the best future belongs to the Bulls, they have a good pick in the draft this year and are missing a good player in the post which they should be able to resolve in the draft.Ben Gordon, Nocioni and Hinrich are all young stars and are only going to keep improving.Toronto isn't too far, Charlie V, Bosh and whoever else they take in the draft this year. For next season the best teams in order are Bulls,Celtics, Raptors,Magic.
The Bulls have my favorite group of players. All they need is more help inside and more experience. Can't go wrong with Hinrich, Nocioni, Deng, Gordon, Duhon and Chandler. The Celtics have a nice group but their young HS talent is so inexperienced that it kind of turns me off. Of course te Bobcats, Felton, Knight, Wallace, Okafor, Brezec and May...if they add Roy or Gay it would look much nicer.
The Bulls IMO, they have a great set of young guards and forwards who are aggressive, explosive to the basket and have good shots, all they need is a good inside presence and with this year's draft they should be able to address that need. The Raptors I think are pretty good too with Bosh, Charlie V, Graham, and the pick this year. The other teams mentioned(Magic and Bobcats) are also pretty good but dont really have what the Raptors and Bulls have, they have one great player and maybe one other good player and thats it. The Raptors and Bulls are stacked with young stars everywhere on their team.
Dallas should be able to be great for awhile. Look out for Toronto as well, they're a vetran and PG away from being a 5ths eed in the East
The only reason the Raptors will get better is that Brian Colangelo is their GM. He's a smart guy who can build a franchise.I also agree that Dirk is still pretty damn young, so my order goes.Mavs (Dirk, Howard, Daniels, Harris are all young)Bulls (get another quality big and they'll be in business)Raptors (Colangelo weaves gold)Magic (Howard will be the most dominant player in the league in two years)Celtics (Good players with potential, let's see if they keep it going)
Orlando by far. We all saw their late season run beating elite teams. Dwight Howard is already onf of the best bigmen in the league. (Yes I said it) Jameer has promed he can paly excelent and with all that CAP room coming up they may just be able to bring in a LeBron James player. Well someone huge anyway.
I hardly take the Magic seriously...Don't put much stock in late season wins when a bad team is playing a good team...most players on playoff teams only play half the time to be healthy for the playoffs.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Son of Mavs Man @ May 30 2006, 09:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>The only reason the Raptors will get better is that Brian Colangelo is their GM. Well, he's not totally out of his prime, either. ^Magic - Howard, Nelson, Milicic, Stevenson Bobcats - Felton, May, Okafor, WallaceBulls - Nocioni, Hinrich, Gordon, Chandler, Duhon, DengThose 3 are going to be scary, loaded with young talent. Detroit imo might falter in a few years, they dont have a lot of young talent, Amir Johnson and Jason Maxiell might be respectable players in the future but we haven't seen anything from them considering the amount of minutes the starting lineup gets. Miami also has some old legs, their core is Wade, Haslem, and Simien, I guess.
Bulls of course. Look at their youn guys. A fundamental point with pretty good court vision and nice passing skills, a good shooter in BG who can take you off the dribble, veteran pg (not really) who can run an offense and distribute the ball, Forward that can score inside and out, Agrresive guy who can take it inside and score points, a good rebounder and solid post defender, and of course a #2 pick. THey just need a vet to balance that all out and boom, 5th seed.Otherwise my raps of course. I wont get into much detail because if I did, it would take too long. But look we got a Euro pg who can pass the ball, #1 pick (RUDY RUDY RUDY), inside and outside smooth Charlie V, Joey Graham (the attacker), Chris Bosh (Mr. All Star thankyou very much), and we got another Euro that we have rights to. We can either trade him away, bring him in or just let him rot on his Euro team. Anyway, I hear that he is like a Jose who can actually shoot. He is supposed to be alot better than Jose too so that's good. I expect us to be the #3 seed in the future thanks to the Atlantic (YYYEEEEEEAAAH). Woo hoo. Thankgod we have a piss poor division. Hey who knows, one snap to Vince's ankle and we could be taking the Atlantic next year.
In Terms of now- Dallas Mavericks because young coach, young core of players, and there leader Dirk is only 28, they can very well have a dynasty if they win the title this year.In terms of a couple of years- Orlando Magic, Darko and Howard frontcourt is daaaayyyum sick and you got Jameer Nelson running the show.. follow by tons of money to spend this off season.
I say that you have to go with the bulls. They are young at all 5 starting spots and even alot of young talent on the bench. hinrichgordondengnocionichandlerduhon#2 pick in this upcoming draft=damn good playerThats enough said right there
What I like about the Bulls is that they are winners, they always come up big late in the year and in the payoffs...a lot of them come from good winning schools as well...
I'll just be a homer and throw the Suns out there. Amare(please), Diaw, Barbosa, James Jones, 4 first rounders in next two years.
Suns are a nice pick to put in there.I think that you need to add Indiana into the list of teams with a bright future.Jamaal Tinsley and Anthony Johnson are great young point guards. Stephen Jackson and Sarunas Jasikevicus are both young shooting guards. Danny Granger is a promising 3. Jermaine O'neal isn't that old, he's going to be in the league for another 10+ years. David Harrison is going to improve also. But, Boston, Chicago, and Dallas have the best young cores.
