I'm just east of the Hillsboro area, so I'm definitely going to check this joint out. Righteous. Thanks for the review.
Rarely these days it seems. We fired a guy that was doing some work for me so I'm over-capacity at the moment. Let me know when you're planning to be in the area and maybe we can grab something to eat though!
Another little hole in the wall place that I've eaten at for years is Boulevard Taco's on Denver and Portland Blvd (now Rosa Parks Way). It used to be called El Burrito Loco for years, great chimichangas and muchaca burritos. Very reasonable prices too. There's also a Thai place called, Thai Ginger that is in the area and is real good.
Many, many, times. And if you're ever down to your last $4 and need to drown your sorrows there's a little asian place (Mai something?) directly across the road from it that makes a Long Island Tea that will kick your ass. Farther south on the right is the Sausage Kitchen, which makes awesome meaty sandwiches, and they also process meat for hunters.
I tried out this place called Papa G's deli on Division. It was fuckin horrible! I mean really, a vegan deli?
Isn't that basically Sweet Tomatoes, but without the cheese? That sounds fucking disgusting. A vegan hole in the wall? Why the fuck would you ever go there?
BLAZER PROPHET took me there today for lunch. Not too bad. We both had Chinese. I'm gonna get back there sometime for a steak, though.
Po Shines Cafe De La Soul is dank. Its a little cafe type place over in Kenton. Best soul food I've had in the Portland area.
I've been trying new places the past couples months. Damn, Portland has a really underrated food scene.
Not really a hole in the wall, but Double Dragon in southeast (12th and Division) is fantastic for Vietnamese sandwiches (Bahn mi). Good beer, huge sandwiches, tasty as all hell.
I went to a place called nel centro downtown on SW 6th yesterday for lunch. Definitely not a hole in the wall, but very good!
