I'm wondering if a teammate put him on his ass on purpose.

If anyone, it would have been Cho. Teammates don't care if he is a whiny bitch or not.

I read this same sentiment on another forum, and still have the same question: do you really believe he said something so inflammatory that he deserved to get injured?

    WTF.

Hmm, I wonder if he's pulling a Paul Pierce. Milking it nice and slowly.

I generally don't assume players are faking injuries....but this case just might be an exception.

I tend to think about it more from the conspiracy angle. It makes me think back to Darius Miles and how the Blazers used an injury exception to cut him.

Overall though my guess it is just past experience of Blazer fans causing them to overanalyze the issue at hand. The overall experience with Rudy and the team over the last year will cause most to be skeptical.

"Took him out of practice" could mean a bruise. I'll make a novel suggestion: Why don't we wait a day or so until we have more precise information?

That's crazy talk. Are you trying to put chat rooms out of business?

At this point Rudy is thinking, "why oh why didn't I just hold out?" Only in Spanish.

In the meantime Cho and the Blazers will holdout for a deal that meets the over-inflated value they've put on Rudy Fernandez.

Rudy has already shot down 2 deals. How many deals does Rudy have to shoot down for it to not be on Cho?

Teams that Rudy deemed acceptable at the time offered fair value for Rudy Fernande and the Blazers wouldn't go for it. It's their own fault it has come to this.

Rudy has a history of going up high, of crashing to the floor, and of hurting his back. According to Nate, he did all three, and the crashing to the floor part was pretty severe. This may be a case of something being reported that is actually true. :dunno:

Well I will disagree with you on this. I believe that the Blazers best interest is their own, and not Rudy's, and I think it is in the Blazers best interest not to help those teams who he had on his list. That is why I don't buy his line about wanting to go back to Spain. It is a blatant lie. If we cut him he will go to another NBA team for nothing, and probably a team that we are trying to play catch up on. If it wasn't true, he would accept any deal and try to get to another team so he can get them to cut his contract, because it obviously isn't going to happen here.

I definitely buy that he has interest in going back to Spain. Not only would he be at home with his family and playing his style of ball, he'd make more money doing it. Not exactly a bad proposition.

Besides, trading him to the Knicks would be pretty harmless and you'd get fair value for him. The Blazers are either overvaluing or being dicks on purpose which is pointless because Rudy is a marginal player. There are certainly bigger and better things to do.
