"Nope, that's not a mistake in the NFL time schedule for Sunday. The Jets, undisputed stars of prime time in 2010, are visiting Buffalo at 1 p.m. Three of the Jets' first five games this season are or have been at night, and the only other one that wasn't was a 4:15 p.m. victory over New England that was the featured game on the CBS schedule that day. The reason the Jets are slumming this week is obvious. The Bills (0-3) aren't anyone's idea of must-see TV, as they don't have a single prime-time game scheduled this season after finishing last in the AFC East last year. But the Jets made it quite clear Wednesday that they are taking their downtrodden division rivals seriously, despite their record. "A lot of analysts will say this is a trap game," defensive tackle Sione Pouha said. "We'll let them say that. In this locker room, we're not taking them lightly at all. We understand what Buffalo can do. "I know they have that 0-3 record," Pouha added, "but if you look at the stats, they've put up some pretty decent numbers. They're not an 0-3 team to me." Certainly the Bills did show some life offensively at New England on Sunday. After averaging 176 yards of total offense in its first two games, Buffalo gained 374 in a 38-30 loss to the Patriots after switching quarterbacks, as Ryan Fitzpatrick took over for the since-waived Trent Edwards. Also in that game, rookie running back C.J. Spiller had a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. "This team has plenty of weapons," coach Rex Ryan said. And the Jets' defense is coming off its worst outing of 2010, allowing 436 yards of offense, yet holding on for a 31-23 win over Miami. It's unclear if that defense will get back any of its injured regulars Sunday. Ryan admitted that "I don't feel great" about the chances of cornerback Darrelle Revis (hamstring) playing, but hinted that linebacker Calvin Pace (foot) might be well enough to play a limited amount of snaps. With Revis likely out again, Ryan is considering starting fifth-year veteran Drew Coleman at one cornerback spot, and moving rookie Kyle Wilson to nickel back, the role originally intended for him." http://www.northjersey.com/sports/p...04061659_Jets_taking_0-3_Bills_seriously.html
