http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/407...to_die_a_knick/He said if he was ever cremated, he would want his ashes sprinkled over the Garden. He also said he wants EVERY player back next year. What is wrong with this guy? What is he trying to change his image a bit from "I'm Starbury and I'm playing my way now" because if he is, it hasn't changed my thoughts about him. That being said, I'm sure it hasn't changed GM's thoughts about him.
He wants the entire roster back? The Knicks will never win with that roster. Jamal Crawford, Steve Francis, Stephon Marbury, Quentin Richardson, and Jalen Rose all play similar positions and need the ball to be effective.
If he wants the entire roster back, he wont see a winning season until every player on their roster retires.
Best of luck to Marbury getting the entire roster back. Idk if he realizes his GM is Isiah Thomas...hes best friend will be the telephone this offseason, calling every team in the league 5 times a day. Eddy Curry is their only free agent this offseason. Unless he resigns and Isiah trades no one, Marbury your wish will come true. But this team needs to make major moves.Have fun being a Knickerbocker tell you retire Marbury, sucker
Wow. Yet more respect lost for Stephon, the guy is an absolute idiot. You aren't going to win with this line-up, because everyone plays the same positions, they all hog the ball, and all they can do is score
God Steph! Don't be a dick you're not a "star", and you're not "starbury". someone like MJ I'd understand, but you??? plus, you haven't done anything for the Knicks except you got them the 7th spot in the playoffs in 04. Godamn, we need to get rid of Francis, Rose, and Jamal Crawford.
Seriously, Marbury is delusional if he thinks their current roster can muster more than 30 wins in a season. That team needs to be blown up like none other. What makes him think he's so important to the Knicks franchise that they would consider sprinkling his ashes on the Garden?
Leave it up to Marbury to say this. Watch next year he will demand a trade.I told my dad this, and he said i hope he dies when hes a knick Obviously he was joking.

:no3: i wish marbury never spoke to the media because if he didn't i don't think everyone would hate him as much. he says the whackest stuff to the media and people take it too literally. he's just expressing how bad he wants to be in ny. i really hope he doesn't want to keep this same roster tho because it's not gonna work out next season if they do.
Bottom line, Marbury is a cancer and a scitso (that how you spell it?). I believe he truly loves the game, no doubt, but he doesn't know how to make his teammates better. Averaging 20 points and 8 assists doesn't necessarily make your team better. I say he's a scitso because he has 2-3 different opinions on one subject within a span of 2 months lol.We all know the Knick problem, Marbury vs. Brown. But then he goes on Quite Frankly and says he didn't like playing in MinneSNOWta. Then in an interview he says he would love to go back and play with KG. lol He is a very confused guy, but it sucks because he is a very talented individual.
Hmm I thought he'd be planning his escape from New York by now.Yeah right? Everyone back? Not with that season. You know that a couple, or a lot of people will be gone. Isiah will continue to pull strings like he always does.
