The much anticipated fight between young British super middleweight prospects George Groves and James Degale will not be happening this year. Frank Warren publicly made an offer to Groves which was countered by his manager Adam Booth. The deadline past and the politics took over and it is not happening for now. Adam Booth confirmed this on Steve Bunce’s boxing hour saying the counter offer was not invited by Frank Warren. This means Frank Warren only wanted the Groves fight on his terms meaning fighting on a Frank Warren show.
