I think Quick is pretty close to hanging it up -- or should be. He's gotten far too emotionally invested in covering the team as the year's have worn on.
During the fan-fest, he sounded like a disgruntled fan, who was letting his emotions control too much of what he thought about the team. He seemed to be more upset over certain players not living up to his what his expectations are.
Quick is a douchebag! I believe this administration is going to handle the "outside" media different then KP did. No chatting on the side, no leaks. Quick is fucked basically. No big stories to break. Maybe he feels he just has to stir shit up like he used to. Be careful, your gonna burn some bridges son.
I read this last night, and thought I had uncovered someone's personal throw shit against the wall blog instead of you know, the professional blog on a newspaper's website.
I hope so, half the people here would make better beat writers than the crap at the Oregonian like Quick and Clownzano.
I didn't read the rest of his tantrum, but that was some feeble writing in the excerpt. Pathetic. Embarrassing. Is that what passes for journalism these days?
