http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.ssf/2010/10/trail_blazers_practice_marcus.html If Camby goes down, then who's the Blazers' Center?!?
No, but it certainly causes valid concerns going forth.....at least until Oden and/or Przybilla return.
If LA goes down who will be the starting PF? If Batum goes down who will be the starting SF? If Roy goes down who will be the starting SG? If Miller goes down who will be the starting PG? omg omg omg STOMP
He has a strained groin. I doubt Portland would have played him very much at all during the preseason even if he didn't have the strained groin. Not the end of the world.
Camby doesn't need to play. Save him for when it counts. I understand the whole chemistry thing, but he will be fine.
In Camby's average season, he misses 23 games (28%). And that's just regular season. They called Juwan. but he's out spending his giant $854,389 salary!
So, what would be your idea of the greatest basketball team in the world? PG: Sergio Rodriguez SG: Rudy Fernandez SF: PF: Juwan Howard C: Bob Whitsitt I'm not sure who your small forward would be.
Sorry, current players only. Whitsitt, of course, is an exception. He's still in his prime, just currently unemployed.
Fitch was forcibly retired by Sterling due to heart problems during the season. So he might not be the best SF currently playing. But now that i think of it, Bickerstaff was forced out of being Sonic Head Coach (replaced by assistant K.C. Jones) due to heart problems. He fainted, dead drop to the floor, during two Sonic games, yet he came back later, elsewhere. So yeah, Fitch at SF...I like it!! Otherwise I go with Viktor Khryapa. Now that Bernie's a Blazer, he'll have to be the Coach, since Fitch is playing.
Since yesterday I have a feeling we're going to use Andre Miller as the sweetener in a Joel-for-a healthier, hopefully better, big-man.
ABM, calm down. This news does not deserve your thread title. It said he was merely questionable for a preseason game. Didn't even say he wouldn't play. Boooo this thread.
