Bulls' Boozer to miss 8 weeks with fractured hand The Bulls announced Sunday that Carlos Boozer will miss eight weeks with a fractured right hand. The team said Boozer suffered the injury on Saturday, a day off for the Bulls. The fracture of the fifth metacarpal will require surgery. If Boozer misses all eight weeks, he will return following the Bulls' annual November trip on November 27. That would mean 15 missed games for the Bulls' biggest offseason acquisition. read more: http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/10/bulls-2.html
Link Looking at Boozer's track record, it looks like he'll be out 10-11 weeks as opposed to the expected return.
Well, it didn't take him long, did it? Is this similar to the injury Kirk had with his hand? I hope it doesn't mess with his shooting form too much.
At first I thought gloom and doom, however, one second thought we have depth at the PF spot. We will miss his scoring, but we will be fine with everything else.
No report on how Boozer broke his hand? How much do you want to bet it happened in a motorcycle accident and I already hate our power forward.
Damn it, why couldnt it be a sprain of the wrist or something? and why did it have to be the pinky bone in the hand?
Gargh! Boozer should at least make up a funny / creative story like he was cutting apples in bed or something.
Boozer: "I came around a corner [on my motorcycle], fell over a [sand] bag, put my arm down to try to brace myself and fractured my fifth metacarpal into 3 pieces. "
I don't mean to brag, but I've got a pretty big house. Still, I'm jealous that Boozer gets to ride a motorcycle through his to answer a doorbell By the way, is that Viktor Khyrapa testing out Booze's ride?
