Where will these players be next season?Any possible trades/signings you see happening with any of these players?Stephon MarburyJermaine O'NealBen Wallace Zydrunas IllgauskasKevin GarnettPeja StojakovicAllen Iverson
Stephon Marbury-Stays in NY, Larry Brown gone. The Knicks are the dumbest organization in sports. No other team needs a house cleaning like they do.Jermaine O'Neal-Stay in Indy, I think their periferals will get dealt away though.Ben Wallace-Pistons will resign him to a max contract, which is ridiculous.Zydrunas Illgauskas-The Cavs will dangle him in front of teams, and I'll guess that the Warriors get him. That's a total guess though.Kevin Garnett-Orlando Magic. Those dummies will trade Dwight Howard and Tony Battie's expiring contract for KG. And they will still be super terrible.Peja Stojakovic-The Pacers will try to trade him, and no one will want him. So he will stay put.Allen Iverson-I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict him getting shipped to the Lakers for Smush Parker, Lamar Odom and a couple of first rounders. Mitch Kupchak is also mentally retarded.
Garnett - If anyone can get a ok offer hes gone. If he really wants out of Minnesota.Marbury - Will probably go due to the massive amount of salary on this team.
Kevin Garnett is staying in Minnesota because it's the only place he's ever been and the team has said they are not trading him. If Minnesota did trade him they would get half his value in return and ticket sales would go down the toilet. Kevin Garnett is T-Wolves basketball, trading him, the only thing they have ever had would be devestating to the franchise next year and in the future. Jermaine O'Neal is staying, he's the only thing keeping that team in the playoff picture after Artest ruined that franchises chances of winning. Allen Iverson is staying, he's the reason most Philly fans still go to games, it would make the team a joke, he's too much of a staple in that city. Peja Stojakovic will be resigned. If he leaves Bird takes more heat for the Artest deal and the franchise becomes very average. He can't afford not to resign him. Ben Wallace will be resgined but he won't get a max contract, the Pistons aren't dumb enough to do that considering his age. If the Pistons lose to Miami in this series it could effect Wallace's chances of getting the money he wants.
:::Sigh of relief that I finally saw a list of players that might get traded, and not see Paul Pierce's name::: lolBut Marbury should be gone.JO is staying in my opinionBig Ben will never leave DetroitBig Z will stay in Cleveland with LBJ if he's smartKG is up in the airPeja will leave if he gets offered more moneyAI is also up in the air, but I think he wants to retire a Sixer

He practically has a tent set up behind the 3 point line.
Stephon Marbury: I can see him going, the knicks aren't good with trading and are not going to get a good deal for him. Jermaine O'Neal: Too valuable to Indiana, the pacers will try to sway him to stay there.Ben Wallace: It's possible, but you have to remember that the Pistons gave him a chance to start over. Zydrunas Illgauskas: Him, Larry Hughes, and Drew Gooden would carry the team in case of a LeBron injury, he needs to stay.Kevin Garnett: No one will give a good enough offer for him and he stays.Peja Stojakovic: Peja is past his prime, he went out of it quite fast actually. Peja might go into free-agency and eventually get signed but I don't think he will be traded this off-season.Allen Iverson: No, what will the offer be? Needs to be pretty good, and can't destroy the team, kind of hard.
Peja is not past his prime! he averaged 19.2 ppg. AND he only struggled becuase like steve francis they shipped away his best friend/teammate. (although you'd think he'd be happier with that damn fine wife of his hubba hubba)

Stephon: I see the Knicks putting him on out there but I doubt anyone will want him.He might get traded in a few years but next year I see him a Knick.Jermaine: Rumors have been going on with him being traded this year but I still see him a Pacer, maybe not in a couple of years however.Ben: I think if he does ask for the max contract, they will let him go.If hes smart he will not ask for one and stay with Detroit.Zydrunas: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Center Zydrunas Illgauskas, the longest-tenured Cavalier, could be the subject of trade talks, team insiders said. It is a complex issue for General Manager Danny Ferry, one that will play out in the coming months.-- Akron Beacon Journal</div> That made me wonder whether he will be a Cavalier next season.KG: His name is being thrown around everywhere with trade rumors, I think there gonna trade him.Not sure were but I don't see him a T'Wolv next season.Peja: If they traded for him might as well resign him, he will hopefully stay a Pacer.AI: Hes gonna stay next season.Sixers can't afford to lose the heart and soul of there franchise. They almost made the playoffs last season and with a few off-season acquisitions to there defense they should be in contention again.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CB4AllStar @ May 30 2006, 08:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'> ???Are you joking?</div>no. he has decent defence better than guys like steve nash. and as good as guys like josh howard.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Stephon MarburyJermaine O'NealBen Wallace Zydrunas IllgauskasKevin GarnettPeja StojakovicAllen Iverson</div> Of all those players, the only one I see being dealt is Marbury really. I expect KG, Peja, AI, Illgauskas, O'Neal and Wallace to stay with their teams. If I had to guess which players has the best shot of leaving, I'd go with Wallace(because of his wants/Pistons being smart) and Peja(Pacers will try to keep him but not overpay him despite the Artest trade). Iverson, Garnett though could be traded but not during the summer, I see those as guys that could be dealt before the deadline, it really depends on how they start their season.
Ok, seriously. Peja doesn't play any damn defense and never has. He is past his prime and there is never a situation in which Peja Stojakovic and the word "athlete" should ever be used in the same sentence. A team will pay him about 6 or 7 mil a year to come in and shoot threes. Whichever one needs it the most will get him. I don't see the Pacers re-signing him the more I think about it. Actually, the more I think about it, Peja will wear a Nuggets uni next year. That is the thing they need the most, and it is the only thing he still provides.

Nuggets are over the cap and can't offer him anything but the MLE, something Pacers should then easily match.
