"Donovan McNabb won another game in Philadelphia. This time, he did so in the colors of the Eagles' division rivals. For the second time in his career, McNabb won a game despite completing just eight passes. He led the Redskins (2-2) to the 17-12 win in his Sunday homecoming at Lincoln Financial Field after being dealt to Washington in the offseason. McNabb passed for a season-low 125 yards and threw a touchdown to Chris Cooley. Kevin Kolb replaced an injured Michael Vick at the end of the first quarter and threw a late touchdown but missed a wide-open DeSean Jackson and was almost picked off on a few occasions as the Eagles (2-2) had their two-game win streak snapped and fell to 0-2 at The Linc. The reason Eagles coach Andy Reid messed up a critical sequence before halftime at Washington's goal line that resulted in a delay of game penalty followed by a blown timeout that turned a potential momentum-changing touchdown into one of two David Akers' field goals. The offensive line had trouble protecting against one of the NFL's worst pass defenses and the defense allowed 169 rushing yards to the NFL's fourth-worst rushing offense."
