Do you think Ben Wallace has a chance to go to the Hall of Fame? Even though he is a terrible offensive player, he is one of the best defenders. He is a great blocker, stealer, and rebounder. But I think he will miss the HOF by a slim margin.
Are you kidding? He's a pretty good defensive player, but that's about it, he's no where near HOF worthy. Plus he's only been as good as he is for a short while. He's way too old now and he's only going to decline. He has no shot.
I don't think so. He hadn't been a premier player until 4 years ago. All he is, is a defender. So he won't get the nod.
No. He had a really rough start, and just started to get big about 2 or 3 years ago. Usually you get in by offense, Ben has no offense. Also, he is 32 so there is really nothing else he can do now to generate some discussion here..
Yeah its gonna be a no.. But he had a great carrer and story from being a scrub not getting a chance to being a 4 time DPOY.
I think it is a toss-up... it'll really depend on who else is eligible at the time he is... if it is a strong eligibility class, then he probably won't get in, but if it is considerably weak, he'll get in.Yes, he's old... yes, he only became a household name a few years ago (if you can call it that), but he is a four time Defensive Player of the Year award winner (tied first all-time with Dikembe Mutombo). If he wins another one, I'm thinking he'll surely get in.
