Ohio State's Tyler Moeller out for season

    Ohio State senior safety-linebacker Tyler Moeller will undergo season-ending surgery this week to repair a torn pectoral muscle, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

    Moeller suffered the injury in the first quarter of Saturday's road win against Illinois. MRI results on Monday revealed the tear.

    Moeller, who played the "star" position in Ohio State's often-used nickel package, leads the team in both tackles for loss with 4.5 and forced fumbles with 2. He has 20 tackles, a sack and an interception.
