Actually the numbers don't tell the whole story. He had some pretty outrageous highlights. Like putting the ball on the floor at the 3 point line and driving for a end of quarter bucket.

Excellent. I can set my clock again. A big win last night and no whining post from MIXUM really threw me off my game. Glad you found your inner whiner!

Sounds like following basketball isn't fun for you. Why do you do it?

Honest answer: it isn't. However, being a jackass is very fun for him, and these forums are a great opportunity for that. In other site's forums, he'd just be banned.

Gee, I sure wish Greg would have been able to put up 16 and 16 last night - it might have made a huge difference in our 28-point preseason victory.

Nice start for him. Related to that game, has anyone looked at the PHX front-court minus Stoudemire? Holy crap.

Started Lopez at C and Hedo as the PF, and only have Gani Lawal, Garrett Siler, Earl Clark, Dwayne Jones, and Hakim Warrick on the bench? If that team makes the playoffs, Nash should go immediately into the Hall of Fame.

Good question. He didn't play and wasn't on the first boxscore I saw. He's still on the team though; not that he's much of a front-court player.

I guess our point is get over it. The Greg Oden thing will either work out or it won't. There is no use fretting over it. All that adds is an upset fan to the equation. The Blazers have the hand they have been dealt, and that is the reality they have to deal with. If Greg works out, awesome. If he doesn't work out, I am not going to sit around and sulk about it. It is time to move forward. As they say in drag racing "Run what you brung", and have a good time.

Oden was not even on the bench according to the postgame to cheer on his teammates or get a feel for how the other teams bigs play.
Are we ready to start to use the B word with him.

    Get him on the Bench
    Get him a Bib
    Get him a Bubble
Damn get him Box of crayons

Meanwhile I'll be driving by the Rose Garden honking twice, three times, 30 times!

I said before the draft that Cousins was, at a minimum, the 2nd best player coming into the league this year. Nobody believed me.

That's not true, there are several posters on this board who thought Cousins was a good player, even with his attitude issues. Some of us actually thought that his bad attitude could help this team a little bit in the "nasty" department. I thought that moving up and drafting him would have been a hell of an insurance policy if nothing else.
