I applaud this forum. We've obviously worked hard this offseason. The team is still in pre-season, but we're in mid-season form when it comes to bitching.

    Well done, mates.

I was hoping it would change this year (and still might), but I have to agree with the assessment that we don't set "picks" as much as we set up to look like we're going to pick and then slip. Doesn't have the same effect.

Seriously. I think some of you wait in anticipation of each game where the Blazers don't play well just so that you can unload on them.

i'm withholding judgement until I can see a game, and not have to read through a summary by a blogger or Olive writer--no offense to bloggers for mixing them up with that.

But it seems as if the complaints are the same as from the last couple of years. I'm not saying I agree--without seeing the games--but if it's true that LMA still won't set an NBA-quality pick, that we're still isolating Roy and taking a lot of shots with 3 seconds on the clock, there will be many who feel justified that they can see how the team could improve, while the team plays the same way that got them 2 first-round playoff exits. :dunno:

decimated by injury? I hope not, but if so I won't be blaming the coach for it regardless of who that is

Actually, most of us don't say anything about the style of play when we win because we're just so happy we won. But the style of play is consistently one-on-one, with very few pick and rolls, and it really becomes an issue when we lose.

So what does it say that Utah only won by 4 at home? Their offense is so much better, but they won by 2 baskets, which in my book, is barely winning. This game came down to a couple of defensive plays made at the right time. Utah doesn't lose many games at home, to anybody. Try to keep that in mind.

Just because I think Adlritch can be a 35/12 guy doesn't mean I'm the clearly insightful (and, I bet, uncommonly good-looking) source.

My parents were the unfortunate owners of one of those cars. The first engine went with under 2k miles on the car. The second went at 9k. The lemon law was passed shortly there after.

    Bump!

Three years later and this Jazz fan nailed it to a freaking T regarding the system and Aldridge.

Re-reading threads like this from the McMillan era makes me appreciate the hell out of the Stotts hire.
