BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!!
We will never agree about college football. But we're right on when it comes to Baseball. Donny Baseball was my first ever hero. And I'm a Yankees fan because of it. They won the world series the year before he went to NY, and the year after he retired. None in between. I love that guy, and I'm contemplating becoming a Dodger fan because he's their manager now. I just want him to win a ring. As for Baseball - it's amazing during the playoffs. I just can't see how someone couldn't like playoff Baseball.
I've never been a Braves fan, but they were always on T.V. I can remember that stacked mid 90's team like the back of my hand. Steve Avery, Sid Bream, Mark Lembke, David Justice, Brian Jordan, Jeff Blouser, Andruw Jones. They were stacked.
Ankiel has carved himself out a nice little career as an outfielder. I remember when he was struggling to keep the ball in play as a pitcher with the Cards in his younger years.
Wow. Huge two-run home run by Hinske in the bottom of the 8th with the Braves trailing 1-0. Jonathan Sanchez's gem wasted.
Wow, Brooks Conrad having an epic bad game. Three errors and not only bad at the plate, but popped up his one bunt attempt. That last error may have cost the Braves the game.
There's a reason he's a minor league journeyman. He belongs there. This is the big stage folks, you don't make errors and win in playoff baseball. It just doesn't happen.
