"Both Kenny Phillips and Ahmad Bradshaw are listed by the Giants as questionable for Sunday's game in Houston. They took different routes to arrive at that status.

Running back Bradshaw has been a concern all week because of an ankle injury suffered while earning the NFL Offensive Player of the Week honor Sunday night against the Bears. He practiced Friday for the first time, and on a limited basis.

Safety Phillips has been on the injury list all week because of what first was described as a tired and sore knee. He did not practice Wednesday but worked on a limited basis Thursday.

But Friday he was on the sideline again with what coach Tom Coughlin called "a little bit of an MCL" problem in his left knee.

"It's more of a precaution, nothing serious," Phillips insisted. "They're just trying to be smart right now."

However, red flags go up anytime "Phillips" and "knee injury" appear in the same sentence. The No. 1 draft pick from 2008 had last season cut short after two games to have microfracture surgery on that knee."
