Who then didn't think we'd be the title favorite in 2011? We were like a slam dunk dynasty. I'm worried about the upcoming season. I want titles and I'm not sure it's realistic this year or any year in the future, esp with the talent Miami assembled. All I hold onto is that Oden will come back this season and become a 14/11/2 man.
Yeah I remember it ... I also remember quietly saying to myself, "things rarely go as smoothly as you hope they will." But Miami aside, I've thought for a little while that this team's title aspirations hang on some pretty tenuous threads, mostly related to Oden's inability to get healthy, also there hasn't been as much growth from Aldridge as I hoped, and Roy has been nearly as fragile as Oden. Here's hoping they flip the script and get some traction this year, instead of suffering more setbacks.
