Yeah, that was all the talk. Disgraceful!!! That made the decision quite easy. 2K11 FTW! Plus it sounds like it's awesome. MJ23 > Elite glitches. Yes.
Quite a few. I put the sliders to 'Simulation' and then tweaked a few there (specifically the 3 point shooting for both CPU and Human), jacked the foul sliders up a whole bunch and moved the game speed down to 47. I've gotten some pretty good games so far, I just need to figure out the foul sliders a little better, because I feel like both me and the CPU are getting to the line a bit too much.
Lower the foul settings, and disallow driving to the lane so easily. Only the elite (Wade, Rose, etc.) should be able to get there at will. But I gotta ask, why did you slow the game? :S I get perfectly natural (90s-100s) game scores at 11 mins. playing at 55 speed.
I felt the tempo of the game moved too fast at 50, and I love the way it plays at 47. The moves look more natural and it doesn't seem like everyone has super-sprinter speed. And honestly, I don't have a lot of issues with people driving the lane too easily on me, at least not that I've noticed.
Also, how many shots per game, and what kind of FG% are you getting? I'm working on getting realistic numbers for both of those, so I'm trying to get about 80-85 shots per game while also keeping the FG% around 43-48% for both sides.
Well I get about 75 shots per game, while shooting 50% so it's close enough. Simulation is a good base for the sliders and essentially notching each category off a few in accordance to your liking, really (and skill level).
Also, you can get 43% by simply trapping the shit and playing half court press during the last 3 minutes of every quarter. If you play right, I can guarantee they'll shoot 25% those last few minutes.
I refuse to play this game online. People play super fucking cheap in any sports game, and I guarantee it's going to be nearly impossible to go online without having to play the Heat or Lakers, so I'll pass.
My league is boss. There's a trade offer everyday, all games are played on wednesday and sunday nights, and everyone is active all year long. I think it's because everyone puts in $250 in a 30 user league. You really need to look long and hard before entering those leagues, if I were you, I'd try to get into the 'big name' leagues that happen every year. There's about 50-75 a year that are 30 team leagues (almost all with money) that are guaranteed to take up 2 scheduled nights a week. They're amazing.
I don't know if I'd be willing to pay to play in an online league, especially given how cheap some people are online. There's also way too good of a chance that it could end up being a colossal waste of money.
You can't really play cheap in 2k11. They fixed that, it's not like 2k10. I'm able to mop up other players using the Bulls. The people that have given me difficulty so far have been guys using the Nets and Wizards...and that's just because those players were really good.
Well, it's different considering most of these leagues are well known and you can really just sign up. Trust me, the money makes people want to pay. And the scores are always pretty close. You can't really cheat bro.
does anyone know any patches to put the Sonics on the 2k11 association? I'd like to switch them with the Kings and maybe move the Grizzlies back to Vancouver
