Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray moved into the third round of the Shanghai Masters with easy victories on Wednesday, while Andy Roddick pulled out with a thigh injury. The second-seeded Djokovic beat Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia 6-3, 6-3, just two days after winning a rain-delayed final at the China Open for his second straight title in Beijing. Murray, the fourth seed, beat 465th-ranked Chinese wild card Yan Bai 6-2, 6-2. Murray broke his opponent five times, while dropping his own serve only once.
