It's interesting to see the "holier than thou" Duck fan comments on here. They seem oblivious to the fact that they've been consistently rated as the worst behaved fans in the Pac-10 over the last several years.

I love Duck fans. Win the conference one year, and act like they've done it 10 years straight.

Explanation seems pretty clear. A lot of Duck fans I hear talk act as if they have never had a down season, and their shit don't stink. The same little brother syndrome they mock of Oregon State, they had towards USC the last decade or so. One year on top, they've forgotten they ever acted in such a manner.

I also find it funny, not in this thread, but I believe in another on here, how for the past few years, it seems, NW fans have rooted for BSU, arguing their cause, etc. But when they could possibly get in the way of Oregon getting to the title, the same excuses the rest of the country made, soft schedule, etc. get thrown out here as well. Odd.

lol BSU didnt get anywhere in the way of BSU last year as they were ahead, but I still rooted against them. F their soft ass schedule. And I dont give a flying crap about USC's dominance. It didnt affect me at all. They were Oregons "daddy" until the last few years I have no problem saying that. Where I get the "little brother" idea is from all the "look at me" interjections into threads. Sorry if that offends you.

The fact that you think somebody else has a "little brother syndrome" basically proves that you think your team is something more special than it is.

Yes, it's only in Duck threads that Beavers interject, you're right.

yes, he mentioned shortness of careers as a way to further the topic of whether Rodgers should go pro or not. You followed that up with "yeah hopefully that changes now that bigger recruits are starting to notice Oregon. and the successes of Chung, Byrd, Stewart, Ngata and hopefully Dickson, Thurmond, and Ward will possibly help too. I can tell the secondary HS kids are starting to notice Oregon and the success their DB's are getting in the NFL."

Which really has nothing to do with the topic, or short careers, and just turns the topic into a Ducks topic and recruits. Which is kind of a "Look at Me" hey, ignore the beavers topic, think about Duck recruits. Even though it has nothing to do with the topic.

have you never seen a thread change topics honestly? I couldnt care less if someone notices my team or not. But next time to appease you I will make a brand new thread to have a conversation. Hopefully the mod I carried that conversation with wont merge it back as there is no need for a new thread saying "Hey Natebishop, carrying on a conversation..."

Oh quit crying. I'm just saying don't act so holier than thou. The topic changed course because you mentioned recruits. And others change course because beaver fans mention Beavers. You act like it only happens in Duck threads when you did it in the most recent Beavers one is all.

No one is crying. Show me once in there where I said something to get Beaver fans attention. "Hey look at the recruits Oregon is getting now" It was a carry on of a conversation. Talk about Beavers in Duck threads I really dont care. Interject with comments like the examples I showed, that I feel show a little brother syndrome then I will say it too. Just like the songs I had mentioned before... one song mentions how much they love their Ducks, and doesnt say OSU once. Yet another song from OSU I am pretty sure mentions the Ducks more than their own team. What would you call that then? Please enlighten me with knowledge.

The carry on of a conversation about Rodgers, and the short career of NFL players was talking about the hope of Oregon getting good recruits? Ok. I guess anything then is sort of a carry on of another, if you stretch it. In a discussion of the pro prospects of Rodgers, whether he should go, and the relatively short length of college careers, who gives a shit about future Oregon recruits, and how does it even continue or stretch a conversation or topic? It doesn't.

And clearly, you do care that the Beavers are discussed in topics about the Ducks.
