Peter Damon, a National Guardsman from Middleborough, is asking for damages because of "loss of reputation, emotional distress, embarrassment, and personal humiliation," according to the lawsuit filed in Suffolk Superior Court last week.Damon, 33, claims that Moore never asked for his consent to use a clip from an interview Damon did with NBC's "Nightly News."He lost his arms when a tire on a Black Hawk helicopter exploded while he and another reservist were servicing the aircraft on the ground. Another reservist was killed in the explosion.In his interview with NBC, Damon was asked about a new painkiller the military was using on wounded veterans. He claims in his lawsuit that the way Moore used the film clip in "Fahrenheit 9/11" - Moore's scathing 2004 documentary criticizing the Bush administration and the war in Iraq - makes him appear to "voice a complaint about the war effort" when he was actually complaining about "the excruciating type of pain" that comes with the injury he suffered. I hope this guy does it, Michael Moore is such a bastard.

Michael Moore is a narcasitic bum who exploits our soliders...his movies are overexaggerated bullsh** and they can hardly be called documentaries.

Still doesn't mean he should fork over 85 million dollars to one guy. The sad thing is the guy will get some money out of this, and just shows how disarray our legal system is.

I remember a story that came out from a couple years ago where Moore was having a booksigning in NYC. The signing was supposed to end at 10:00 but it was 11:00 and the janitors were growing impatient because they would have to stay much later to close the book store...They asked Moore to wrap it up so they could get working but Moore went on a rampage when he ignored them and they called the police. "This is America!" he said...among other things. The police got everything calmed down and the signing session was closed shortly after.... Just another reason I don't like Michael Moore....he seems nice but he's a selfish slob in real life who treats his staffers like sh*t from reports. Michael Moore is someone who twists things and decieves you to think a certain way....He doesn't care about getting all the facts out, he only cares about his way and his way only. His mission is to keep you dumb. I used to like Moore a few years ago but I woke up.
