If a guy wanted to drop comcast for something cheaper is said guy going to be able to watch AS MANY blazer games? any help before i severe ties with comcast.
thats exactly what I have had to do. And I lose almost every feed due to Comcast pulling the plug. In total I spend about a quarter of a game looking for new links. Yayuza is usually awesome at finding new links though.
This is the answer - IF you can get FIOS. FIOS has only put their fiber optics in so many communities around the metro area so far. But they do provide Comcast Sports and all of the Blazer games in their basic $29.99 package. So if you don't want to pay a fortune for cable and still want the basic ESPN, Comcast Sports, etc. for the basic entry-level cost, you have to go to FIOS to get that. And as a side-note, you're not supporting Comcast and their greedy empire by going that route (although I'm not sure how much better Frontier is since I don't know the company, I just know they can't be as bad as the guys getting rich of the little man at Comcast).
I'd wait a few weeks to see if by any luck a deal is made between the Dish's and Comcast right before the start of the season. Never know, it could happen!
I have DirectTV for the past three years, I add Comcast for 5 months. It's pretty cheap - the basic package is $30/mo or so. The day the season ends, I cancel. I hate Comcast, but love the Blazers more.
