I'd have questions too if I was on the outside looking in ... hell I have questions and I'm right up in it every damn day I turn on local sports radio, read this forum or browse the Blazers section at Oregonlive.com

Something is off with this team right now and it's not just Rudy grumbling, Greg and Joel being out and Brandon wanting the ball more.

I guess we'll see if it's more than just an uneasy feeling when the rubber hits the road for real in about two more weeks.

Worthless little tiny article. As for the supposed mystery--

It's pretty obvious. The new assistants have shown Nate, who has no imagination, how to begin introducing a nonroycentric system. They are also trying to play fast break. They will be disorganized at first, but in the long run better.

Since none of the preseason games have been televised, I really can't comment on this, but I certainly hope it is true.

I'm concerned that Mr. Smith seems to think calling Quick "my main man" gives him MORE credibility to talk about the Blazers, rather than less.

I don't understand what new info there is to support the off-season questioning... we've played preseason without much health at the center spot (and the law of averages seems to indicate that during the regular season we'll have at least ONE of our three guys healthy) and we're integrating a new rotation player.

The team losing and/or being "out of sync" doesn't really matter much. Once the regular season starts we'll see how things go.
