A couple of the INT's Katz threw were just flat out idiotic and killed the Beavs momentum. I love Katz. I think he's going to be one hell of a player on Saturday AND Sunday. But when Quizz is ripping up the opponent, don't try to force the ball deep, and certainly don't throw lame ducks in to double coverage. If Katz only throws one pick tonight, the Beavs probably get the W.

Some of the holding calls on us/non calls on OSU were worse than the PI. At least with the PI there was contact. Kerse was huge tonight. 9 catches for 146 yards and 4 TDs! If he plays like that last week, we may have won the game. His (and the other receivers) drops have killed us this year. I don't think I remember any tonight.

...probably?! C'mon...Huskies were lucky to be in OT. Katz gave the game away and Quizz didn't touch the ball as much as he should have to ice it...once again. But that is to be expected from a So. QB making his 6th start at, according to BullshitLotti, the top 3 hardest places to play football in the country (pro or college). I don't fault Katz one bit, there is a major difference in the INTs that he has thrown...they were aggressive positive plays, not dumb bone-headed plays from OSU QB past. So there is that positive because his future definitely looks bright.

Again, hand the rock to Quizz and OSU wins going away!

p.s. I swear Jake Loser is overrated and whichever NFL team drafts him will be sorry. He should have stuck with baseball.

Belotti said that playing at Husky Stadium is one of the top 3 toughest places to play? Are you serious?

hmmmm. Arrowhead is a pro football stadium where the Chiefs play. I think you must be mistaken.

Agreed. He's player some pretty bad football this year. No leadership ability and usually he fades out in the second half of close games. He's all hype.

it was huard that said that and he's a bigger idiot than bellotti. i agreed with the go for two there ... on the road ... the pups thought they had won the game so they had to be demoralized a little bit ... and like it or not the pass hit the guy in the numbers, gotta make that catch. now as for the rest of the game, good lord, was katz on the take? his int in the end zone was possibly the dumbest throw i've seen this season from any quarterback. and riley went away from the rule that in tight games you give the ball to your best player, and the best player on either team last night was quizz. say what you want about locker but i'll take quizz at the next level over him.

How were the Huskies lucky to be in OT? We absolutely dominated up until midway in the 2nd quarter. OSU dominated for the next quarter or two. From the middle of the third on, it was pretty even (but not pretty by either team). All of you are saying if he didn't throw the INTs, you win. Why are his INTs any different than the two Locker fumbles. The only difference I see is OSU actually capitalized on UWs mistakes, whereas UW did their usual 3 and out after a takeaway (see ASU game). Oh, all this talk of Rogers is pretty laughable. Yeah, he's really good, but giving the ball more to a a guy who already had 32 carries for only 140 yards is not going to win the game running away as you put it.

Oh, and Locker isn't all hype. He is raw talent who wasted 3 years with one of the worse college coaches. Put him in Rich Rod's UM or at Oregon and you're looking at the clear Heisman favorite. He'd be putting up Denard Robinson's numbers, but since he isn't 180 lbs, he wouldn't get knocked out of games so easily.

But putting Locker in those systems doesn't make him a top 3 pick like the media pundits are saying. He could of been a top 3 pick in last years draft and a $40 mil contract. A monumental mistake, as he'd had more time to be exposed. Granted, he does have a shitty offensive line and outside of Kearse, horrible targets to throw to.

Go ahead and sleep on Locker, you fools. The kid has played 1 1/2 seasons in a pro style offense. And he's gotten better. His natural abilities are ridiculous. He will be a combine darling. If you can't see that, then you're not capable of evaluating NFL talent. I'm very much looking forward to watching Jake in the NFL. He will eventually flourish. Think Vince Young with much better accuracy, and better football acumen. You'll see. Keep hating.

Oh, and FWIW, the Huskies have beaten two ranked teams this year, one of which was on the road. The Ducks have beaten one ranked team. The Beavers have beaten one ranked team. These are the facts.

    A couple things:

    - I think Locker will be a 1st rounder still (late first round).

    - I think he'll be a decent QB with time in the pocket.

    - Not sure his "football acumen" is as well as Husky fan wants to believe. Guy gets flustered so easy when he's hurried.

    - A couple of hard hits in the NFL (similar to what happened last year vs. OSU) and I don't think he'll be excited to tuck the ball and run anymore.

However, he is fast and strong as an ox. But that doesn't necessarily mean he will succeed in the NFL.

I liked the call to go for 2. You have to go for 2 in the 3rd OT anyway and our kicker is very inconsistent. Locker was on fire in the OT so I doubt the D would be able to stop him. Go for the win! I didnt like the play call. I would have preferred to see a play action pass to suck in the D a little, a screen pass to Quiz, or just run the ball w/ Quiz.
