What are your opinions on Mile Illic, the second round pick of the Nets in last year's draft? Mile stands at 7'2" and has been called a more athletic version of Nenad Krstic although he lacks overall skill of Nenad. Illic may be brought over this summer to the Nets squad as he spent this past year playing for FMP Zeleznik in the Serbian league. A buyout with the club would need to be worked out prior to joining the Nets, but it has been mentioned that the 22 year old could be on the roster next season.
Well theyve worked out well for them lol. Illic has alot of promise apparently, though. Theres legitamite interest in him from other teams if the Nets wanted to include him in a deal..He apparently has a very good step back jump shot out of his post moves, but isnt as polished offensively as Nenad. Having said that, like I said, he is very athletic (a nice feature at his size) and according to reports loves dunking and finishing in the interior, somethin that would be a welcomed addition to the Nets.
