Jay Williams, the former St. Joe's of Metuchen and Duke star, will work out for the Nets soon, he told reporters in Toronto today. Williams, the second overall pick in the 2002 draft, hasn't played in three years following a motorcyle accident which left him with shattered bones and a severed nerve in his leg. Williams worked out with the Raptors today, his first. When asked who else he would work out with, Williams responded, "New Jersey, L.A., a lot of other teams."http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AopG...ov=ap&type=lgns
Ehh, it's a huge risk. He mite be good as a backup or his career mite be overI don't really want him, he won't be the same and I have a bad feeling about the kid
I liked him before he got injured, and we could use a backup PG for Kidd obviously. If he looks good and we can get him for a relatively cheap contract that doesnt lock us up longterm, I wouldnt mind seeing it happen.
