Dustin Byfuglien thinks the world of his former teammate Antti Niemi. He wasn't going to let that interfere with the business at hand though.

Byfuglien scored with 6:20 left in the third period to break a tie, helping the Atlanta Thrashers beat the San Jose Sharks 4-2 on Saturday night.

"It's always fun to come back and play against a former teammate and have a good time," Byfuglien said. "At the same time we're here to do a job and we can't ease up on him. We wanted to put as many shots on him as we could. He's a pretty quiet guy, a good kid, and he has a bright future."

Both former Hawks have great futures. Glad to see Buf doing well on D.

I knew he was to excel even more on the D line.
