"Seeking a new formula to finally solve the Orlando Magic, the Hawks instead produced largely the same result Monday at Philips Arena.

Atlanta coach Larry Drew said opponents essentially must "pick your poison" against Orlando by either focusing on limiting All-Star Dwight Howard or containing the Magic's many capable shooters. The Hawks, like usual, got too many doses of both in their 102-73 exhibition loss.

Orlando has won eight of its last nine games against the Hawks in the regular season and playoffs by an average margin of 23 points. This one didn't count but served as another reminder of Atlanta's troubles matching up with its Southeast Division rival.
