Curious what you guys thought he will average this season since he's washed up and peaked like some of you assume. Wouldn't mind having EVERY person that has come on here cracking on him for "coasting" to give their opinion on how he will perform WHEN IT FUCKING COUNTS! It will be fun to look back on this thread in 4 weeks and see how you guys did. Have at it.
i think the only different is he might average a little less PPG and maybe a small spike in assists. main reason is i think LA is going to have a break out year..ive gone to two preseason games and he looks determined even in the preseason
It's pretty obvious he's not playing hard because it's pre-season. Just going through the motions. He's looked like a homeless-man's Wesley Matthews the entire pre-season.
19-5-4 I think his scoring will go down because of Aldridge and Matthews, not to mention Batum and Rudy (If he stays). I just hope he can remember where his "on" switch is.
So HCP, you don't think it's reasonable for some of us to even question Brandon''s cruising? Roy is one of my favorite Blazers, but that does not mean I won't or can't question him when I see a reason to. The Blazers are a team who have not won ONE playoff series, not ONE with this group of players. Brandon is supposed to be the leader of this team, that still has many young guys, I personally don't want my team leader "cruising" (see Wes M for a non cruising attitude) when neither he or the team has ever won a playoff series. I want him showing the guys that going hard all the time and using these early games to set the tone and also gets people used to "playing hard" together is something worth doing. Maybe I am asking too much, but playoffs are about attitude and work ethic all the time IMO, especially when these guys have never won a playoff series.
Of course I wish the team and Brandon were playing well right now, but this was aimed at a few on here who have the balls and gall to say he has peaked and his play will continue in the regular season. It's a joke! If he had been averaging 25 a game so far, people would be going nuts about him being played too much or him burning out. He will be fine, this is our 2nd team all nba all star we are talking about.
You joke, but it has been nice listening to Wheelz call the game while doing some chores around the house. Actually the other night, my son and I were out front shooting hoops listening to the game. I don't ever get the chance to sit back and enjoy the game. And if it means anything, I'm geting the kinks out during these Beaver and Duck football games!
ESPN baby! I'm sure I'll be having lunch with my girl Erin Andrews! I should get a shot of her in some Blazers gear huh?
