Get the tank--after weeks of speculation Sir Alex has come out and told everyone that Wayne Rooney is done with Manchester United and wants out ASAP. http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~2189552,00.html To me this reeks of Rooney tucking-tail and running away from the problems he's having in his personal life, problems that have been front page tabloid stuff for months, not to mention a Manchester United team that seems to be on the downturn. Rooney, 24, has always been a petulant little ingrate. I can't imagine him going to Liverpool considering the state of that team--despite his roots. Man City would be absolute blasphemy and I think he wants to get away from Manchester anyhow. Chelsea is a possibilty with Drogba getting on in years and the team still being very competitive but I doubt Sir Alex would deal with them. Pretty much leaves Spain. Adios, senor Rooney.
