The Bulls have eight days, two preseason games and roughly five practices left to prepare for the season opener in Oklahoma City on Oct. 27. Some things are fairly certain, such as Derrick Rose, Luol Deng and Joakim Noah in the starting lineup. If there were any thoughts of starting center Omer Asik in place of the injured Carlos Boozer, they were likely squelched Saturday when Asik picked up 3 fouls in his first four minutes against Orlando. Forward Taj Gibson missed that game with a sore right heel, but he joined in Monday’s three-hour practice at the Berto Center and figures to continue filling in for Boozer. “We have an idea about the starting lineup, we feel pretty good about that, Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. “When we go to the bench, what combinations work best? We’re still figuring that out right now. Read more: http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20101018/sports/710199814/
I think Rudy would be a great fit with Chicago... I just don't see anything on your roster that you'd be willing to give up that the Blazers would want.
If Rudy wasn't such an ass clown intent on destroying his value I would give you Taj Gibson and Keith Bogan quicker than you could say Taj Gibson and Keith Bogan For Rudster and Pendy
I don't think Rudy would be a problem in Chicago. He would be the starter, he would get consistent PT, and he wouldn't have to play for Nate McMillan anymore. That's a win/win for him. I think he would do very well in Chitown. With that said, he's shown his cards as a bit of a primadona.
I really like Pendergraph , Nate He , to me , seems to have the makings of a hard interior defender. He may not have the shot blocking skills as Taj or may not be as fleet as foot but I believe Omer Asik will , in time , take the 3rd big role. And , I'm looking for a guy like Jeff Pendergraph that could fill an interior defender role as a 4th big Taj gives you a reasonable talent for Rudy , who outside if his assclownishness, is probbaly the equal of Ronnie Brewer as an athlete , the equal of Bogan as a 3 shooter but is a better passer / playmaker than Bogan. Ok .. he doesn't have the defense of either , but I would see Rudy splitting the 2 guard minutes with Ronnie which would leave Korver as our specialist zone buster / instant offense guy on the wing
Ah ! No I didn't . Thanks. Dude can't take a break . He had that hip injury at the start of last seaosn right ? Anyway I thought he had a real motor at Arizona State and he really caught my eye . Tough SOB.
Yeah, I think he tore an ACL a few games back. Just another in the long line of injuries Portland has sustained.
