<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>RealGM - Dirk Nowitzki scored 50 points in the Mavericks' 117-101 Game 5 victory over Phoenix. His 50 points were a franchise record in a playoff game. Nowitzki scored just 11 points in Game 4.Tim Thomas provided the scoring for the Suns in the loss, hitting 6 of his 8 three-point shots.</div> :worthy:
I hate to say this but if Mavs do face the Heat it's over.Dirk is a monster, especially from beyond the perimeter and our perimeter defense sucks. If they do match up in the finals Mavs should take it in 6.Back to Dirk, what a performance after coming off a bad game, truely a great leader.
All these games are so inconsistant....dirk has worst game of the season and they lose, looks like the suns are coming back, then next game dirk has best game of season and the mavs look to be on top...what the hell will happen next game? This is so annoying.

Dallas is playing a fatigued and small Phoenix team with no scorers. Who on Dallas will be able to guard Dwayne Wade? Shaquille O' Neal? It'll be a closer series than you think, and I'd have to pick Miami

Mavs can guard D-wade from Howard who can bother Wade with his length. Shaq can easily bee taken out of the game if Dallas pumps the pace up more.. which will force Miami to play Walker possibly at Center.

Great game. I was waiting for this to happen. After the low blow in game 4, im glad Dirk smacked it right back in the Suns face.I cant wait to get my Nowitzkiness tshirt in the mail!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I loved that TT taunted Dirk, it sparked him and he went off</div>Lol, yea Tim's kiss might have had some magic in it or something
You could tell Dirk started forcing shots, he missed his first after the kiss and then made like 6 in a row

I'm not taking away from his game, but you have to look at it in perspective. He's been quite consistent throughout the playoffs, save game 4.
Dirk is such an offenive weapon, because he can shoot with the best of them, and he is 7 feet tall. You knew this would happen against the Suns defense. I didnt see it, but nice outing by Dirk. He has really strapped the rest of his team on his shoulder in these playoffs. He's playing like an MVP would.
He had a big game and because of that they pretty much won the series. Is going to be hard for the Suns.
Don't count the suns out. I did after game 3 and than they blew out the mavs in game 4. Great game for Dirk but every game looks completely different from the last. It could happen that Dirk is getting owned by Tim Thomas and can't get good looks. Great series but very unpredictable.
