After finally having their longest in 17 years snapped Monday night, the Maple Leafs will try to put their 2-1 OT loss to the New York Islanders behind them when they host the Rangers on Thursday.

The Maple Leafs outshot the Islanders 30-20, but Dwayne Roloson was once again there to stymie the Leafs. Toronto also had 2 goals called back, which Coach Ron Wilson did not appreciate.

The Rangers, meanwhile, continue to struggle. Forwards Marian Gaborik (shoulder) and Chris Drury (finger) both left last week's game against Toronto with injuries, while Forward Vaclav Prospal is out indefinitely with a knee injury.

J.S. Giguere is expected to start in goal again for Toronto, while Henrik Lundqvist is expected in net for the Rangers.

Defenceman Brett Lebda made his Maple Leafs debut with Toronto on Monday.

    Maple Leafs' Projected Line-up:
    Forwards:
    Versteeg-Bozak-Kessel
    MacArthur-Grabovski-Kulemin
    Sjostrom-Brent-Armstrong
    Brown-Zigomanis-Orr

    Defencemen:
    Phaneuf-Beauchemin
    Kaberle-Schenn
    Komisarek-Lebda

    Goaltenders:
    Giguere
    Gustavsson

    Rangers' Projected Line-up:
    Forwards:
    Dubinsky-Anisimov-Callahan
    Frolov-Christensen-Prust
    Avery-Stepan-Fedotenko
    Boogaard-White-Boyle

    Defence:
    Staal-Rozsival
    Del Zotto-Girardi
    Sauer-Eminger

    Goaltenders:
    Lundqvist
    Biron

2-0 Rangers after 2. I guess that's that. The Leafs have lost their legs again.

Out-played from the drop of the to the end of the 2nd period.

Wilson's gone to his panic mode where he unnecessarily switches up all the lines. Hopefully the team recovers, but it's beginning to look a lot like last year.

Tough loss, but it happens. I like how we stay in it till the end and we don't just give up and fall back.

    We'll get em next week

Hey, that's right. They play them again next week.

As for last night's game... Toronto was just plain lazy if you ask me. Hopefully they're not letting a few games get to their heads.

No Gaborik. No Drury. No Prospal. The journeyman Biron in net.

    Let this never happen again.
