if that plays a part in how people are now, then why don't my former ancestors play a role in how much I kick everyones ass?

So the Mexican guys who work on roofs in Nevada in the hot sun are better able to withstand the high temperatures and extreme sunlight than my lily white ass just because they think of roofing as a better way of making money than I do?

Find me one white guy on Earth who can match LeBron James or Dwight Howard in a full test of athletic ability for their respective size. Joe Alexander is the closest one I can think of off of the top of my head and I doubt the could take the ball from the corner of the free throw line and take on quick step and dunk the way I have watched LeBron do so.

edit....I know they aren't regular athletes so that doesn't mean much IN GENERAL, but I just mentioned them to show that if the best black athletes are better than the best white athletes then the average might be better as well.

This is awesome. Over at BBF right before the great migration, I got banned for 2 days because I started a thread asking if the USA could field an ALL WHITE team who would be on it and how would we do at the Olympics in China! Oh how far we've come! And my opinion, since I grew up with the negroes is that in general they are much more athletic then you crackers!

There are tons of white Michael Jordans and white Dwyane Wades out there. Most of them just choose to be doctors, lawyers, businessmen, etc. My dentist could easily win the scoring title in the NBA. He just chose another profession.

Because I know you can take it, Mick...
I think enthusiasm for players from the NW/Zags is great, but you do seem to have--how should we say?--a regional flavor and fervor to your prognostications

I was wrong on Daye. I still think he has tons of untapped potential. Not sure what the deal is with him. Such a great shooter and such great length.

Wiltjer ended up bailing on the Zags at the last minute and took the snake oil salesman Calipari's bait. He would have been the biggest recruit in Gonzga's history. Had he been a Zag. Nothing really inaccurate there.

Terrence Jones does remind me of Odom and has aspects of Lebron in his game. He's a rookie thats been hampered by injuries. The book is hardly written on him. I still think he'll be a solid player with All Star capabilities.

As for Pargo, people who have watched him play will tell you that he is on par with Rose and Westbrook athletically. He's an athletic freak and he's shown that several times this year with the Cavs and last with Memphis. I've never said he's as good as those two. As athletic, yes.

Well at least George Karl agreed with me:

Among all the injuries the Minnesota Timberwolves have suffered already this season, the most impactful might be the torn meniscus in the left knee of swingman Chase Budinger.

"The kid I think they miss is the Budinger kid," said Denver Nuggets coach George Karl, in town for the game Wednesday night, Dec.12, against the Wolves.

"Early in the season, to me, it looked like he was having a breakout year. I think he was the kid that was going to give them a big lift."

I keed, I keed. My first ever beaner joke. Now that I look at it, it was as my daughter says, "a fail". I should stick to sarcasm.

My apologies to The HCP. I know what a sensitive soul he is and I hope I didn't hurt his feelings.

I also expected bud to have a huge year. He was the first wing weve had in a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time that was reliable from the 3 point line. Adelman also loooooooooooooooves him, first time id ever seen him pat a player on the butt. Chase wouldve gotten a lot of open looks next to ricky, pek, and klove, but he went down, then klove sucked and went down again, and now we have no shooter. The floor spacing is so terrible and we have to work so hard to get a basket.

A rube from my board went up to chase and gushed about him to his face for a minute and then they went their separate ways, only to realize a few minutes later that the man standing next to chase was ricky rubio.
